An online travel platform has named the Island as one of the worlds top viking destinations.
Trips to Discover has listed the Isle of Man alongside the likes of Iceland, Denmark and Norway as one of the nations to have a rich viking heritage.
The publication cites the likes of Peel Castle and 'the ruins of a Celtic and Viking farm settlement' at The Braaid as some of the highlights.
Other countries to make the same list include the Faroe Islands and the Shetland Islands in Scotland.
