A man from the Isle of Man has been arrested in Liverpool after a woman fell from an electric scooter.
The 43 year old man was granted unconditional bail after the incident on Princes Parade near the city's Cruise Terminal at around 6.30pm on Saturday.
The woman suffered serious injuries and is still being treated in hospital.
Merseyside police say the man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and drink driving.
