Island keeping watch on new cancer drugs

New tailor-made killer cancer treatments may be available for Island patients within a decade.

Cancer specialists here are monitoring UK research that could reveal alternatives to chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Cancer Research and the NHS are funding the two-year National Lung Matrix trial jointly with two pharmaceutical giants.
