The Island may have been baking in the recent heatwave - but no records have been broken.
That's according to the government, which says a heatwave in July 1983 produced a temperature of 28.9 degrees Celcius.
The Island's two officially calibrated recording stations are at Ronaldsway Airport and the Point of Ayre Lighthouse.
On July 19, while the UK recorded its record-breaking 40.3 degrees temperature, the Isle of Man was just 28 degrees at its hottest.
