The official World’s Biggest Liar has given the Isle of Man a mention – as he spun his title-winning yarn.
George Kemp from Maryport had five minutes to tell the biggest lie in the annual competition in Cumbria.
His tall tale explained how he’d built a submarine from a bubble car belonging to his father – which he then sailed to the Island.
The contest dates back to Victorian times and is held in Copeland each year.
