The Island’s Bishop says the Church of England is ‘alive and thriving’.
New figures have been released by the church for the 44 dioceses.
Of these the Island’s continues to remain as one of the strongest church attending populations.
That’s despite a drop of 17 per cent in usual attendance – equivalent to around five people less per week.
