The Islands borders will remain at Level 4, but restrictions are being placed on certain travel.
Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, has been updating the public during a Covid-19 briefing following the changing situation in the UK.
Numerous travel restrictions will come into force at Midnight tonight in response to the discovery of a new strain of Coronavirus in Britain.
Travel exemption applications from non-residents will be suspended, including on compassionate grounds.
Returning residents can get tested on the first and thirteenth day of their 14-day self-isolation once they get back to Manx shores at a cost of £50.
Should they choose not to their isolation period will run for 21 days.
Those travelling for medical reasons won't have to pay that charge.
Furthermore, the right for those quarantining to have up to one hour of exercise is also being removed.
Mr Quayle adds he hopes the changes will be short-term and will be reviewed in two weeks time.
