The Island's largest local authority is updating its members' rules.
Douglas Council is looking at bringing in a new Member Code of Conduct and a Digital Information Councillor Code of Practice.
The current rules for government behaviour date back to 2012, with just one amendment in 2013 - while the current internet and email code of practice was brought in 14 years ago.
The council's executive committee has recommended the local authority brings in a new code of practice.
Douglas Council is due to meet later today.
