A group looking to protect the ecosystems of the Irish Sea is being launched on the Isle of Man next month.
The Irish Sea Centre Ltd. (ISC) is being formed to encourage people to work together to help an environment labelled as 'vital' for sectors including fisheries, electricity, nature conservation and shipping.
The ISC is about to kickstart its initial planning phase, which will involve drawing up ideas for activities and partnerships as well as developing its facilities.
The launch event - which is free to attend - will take place at the Manx Museum in Douglas from 7.30pm on Thursday, February 21.
