The Isle of Man Woodland Trust is planting an average of 450 trees per week.
In 2021 the charity planted a total of 7,093 trees on the Island, and is hoping to smash that record this year.
Ian Coulson and Valerie Cottle donated £9,500 to the trust from sales of their book 'Douglas in Passing,' meaning another 1,900 trees can be planted.
You can find out how to get involved on the Isle of Man Woodland Trust Facebook page.
3FM spoke to chair of the trust, Falk Horning, about how they're doing so far this year.
