An Isle of Man registered cargo ship was involved in a collision this morning and has sunk off the coast of Germany.
The government says there is currently an ongoing search and rescue operation being coordinated by the German Coastguard involving other vessels in the area.
Initial reports show the collision happened at around 4am local time, and the Isle of Man Ship Registry was made aware at 7:25am.
The registry will provide further information when available, as this is an ongoing situation.
