Have you been contacted by Amazon about a £1,000 shopping spree? If so, it's probably a scam.
The Island's Office of Cybersecurity and Information Assistance (OCSIA) says it's received a number of tip-offs about a con doing the round on the Island.
The phone calls purport to be from the online retailer, and ask people to sort out difficulties surrounding a £1,000 purchase.
An OCSIA spokesman said people should end the call and ignore the scammers.
We have recently received several reports of scam calls purporting to be from Amazon. If you receive one of these calls or any other scam calls, please hang up and report it on https://t.co/OPoqcXhCOG
