Isle of Man Meats is encouraging shoppers to 'buy local' this Christmas.
According to research by the company, 42 per cent of consumers said supporting Manx farmers is among their top priorities before buying beef, pork or lamb.
Customer and communications manager, Alan Croly, says there is a clear demand from the Manx public for high-quality locally sourced produce.
He added more people are becoming aware of how this can benefit the farming industry and the wider Island economy.
