The Isle of Man has moved into the 'top 25' in the 2022 global broadband speed rankings.
That's according to the government, in a statement issued earlier this week.
Officials say the Island has doubled its broadband speed in 12 months, with average speeds increasing from 52.10 mps to 91.97 mps.
It adds roll out of ultrafast fibre broadband is intended to pass 99% of premises in the Isle of Man by 2024.
Further, the move now places the Isle of Man in the top 10% of 220 countries tested - the highest the Island has ever ranked on this measure.
