Health Minister says there are "significant challenges" ahead.
The island's health service is bracing itself for "significant challenges" as the government prepares to ramp up its booster vaccination programme.
The move comes in response to the Omicron variant and involves increasing the daily target from 1,000 people a day to 1,700.
In Tynwald this week the Health Minister said: "The aim is to get as many people vaccinated with the booster as quickly as possible" and will mean staffing challenges for his department.
Yesterday the Manx government announced that online bookings are now open to anyone aged 40 and over.
