A Manx-registered e-gaming company showed serious money-laundering and social responsibility failures, according to the UK's gambling regulator.
International Multi-Media Entertainments, registered in Finch Road in Douglas, had its UK licence suspended in January after concerns were raised.
The UK's Gambling Commission says the company disproportionately marketed to older people - a 100-year-old customer spent almost £24,000 in five months without the firm checking where his money was coming from, while a 78-year-old managed to spend nearly £64,000 in five months without any record of being contacted by staff.
In its final report which highlighted a number of other worrying cases, the commission said if IMME hadn't already surrendered its licence, it would have been revoked because of serious failures.
