60 Minutes had originally intended to create a segment on the TT races, but ended up also touching on the Island's history, politics, and language.
Culture Vannin says after starting their research, the programme's team quickly discovered the rich culture of the Isle of Man and wanted their piece to have a broader focus beyond the TT.
