Victim Support has been awarded almost £50,000 to help fund a Volunteer Coordinator and Training Officer.
The grant, from the Manx Lottery Trust, will give the charity the chance to expand and improve its use of volunteers to help with the challenges of fundraising and generating income.
The role will give volunteers the chance to develop a wide range of skills and help the charity cope with increased demand for support.
Sarah Kelly, Chairman of the Manx Lottery Trust, says they're delighted to award this grant to such an important cause.
