Investigation launched following Douglas death

A police investigation has been launched after a man was found dead in Douglas last night.

Officers responded to reports of an unresponsive male in the Church Road Marina area at around 7pm on Monday before later confirming the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The constabulary is asking the public to refrain from speculation or posting pictures on social media, as it could impact the investigation and upset relatives and friends.

Back Marina Road remains closed at this time to both vehicles and pedestrians.
