Children’s services on the Isle of Man have been branded ‘adequate’ and ‘weak’.
The findings from an independent inspection by the Care Inspectorate of Scotland have been published.
Inspectors visited the Island to examine and evaluate the quality of services for vulnerable children, young people and families at the end of last year.
Three key priorities were identified including the need for better early intervention and improvements in the immediate response to children who may be at risk of abuse or neglect.
