An inspirational eight-year-old boy has smashed his fundraising target ahead of taking on a challenge this week for a local cause.
Dylan Walton - who attends Rebecca House - has now raised £5,000 ahead of him walking the Islands highest peak and only mountain, Snaefell, this weekend.
Dylan has a rare condition which means he has Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy, and recently had surgery to help ease the pain in his legs and improve the movement in his calves.
As part of his mission this Saturday (July 25), the first 414m will be completed around the NSC unaided, and the remaining 206m from The Bungalow.
Hospice Isle of Man says he is 'over the moon' to have hit his target for donations and can't wait to take on his challenge this weekend.
Anyone wanting to give him support can still do so on his JustGiving page, a link to it is available on our website.
