The inquest into the death of a man from Ballabeg has been officially opened and adjourned.
60-year-old Neil Roberts was found dead at a house on Queen’s Street in Castletown on December 1st last year.
The court heard how the tree surgeon had extensive injuries to his face and head but the cause of death is yet to be established.
Coroner John Needham formally released Mr Robert’s body to his family so that funeral proceedings can take place.
45-year-old Ian Anderson, from Castletown, has been charged with the unlawful killing of Mr Roberts. He is currently remanded in prison.
