The inquest into the death of a Southern 100 rider will open today.
David Jukes was killed in the opening practice session last Monday in an incident near to Ballakeighan Corner on the Billown Circuit.
The 46-year-old charge nurse worked in intensive care at Noble's Hospital and was from Douglas.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham will open the inquest at 10.30am at Douglas Courthouse.
