Teresa Ann McMullin died in August last year at the Isle of Man Hospice.
When the inquest opened last September, Coroner of Inquests John Needham heard the 53-year-old died from an overdose of paracetamol.
She'd taken the medication and fell ill between 16 and 18 days later.
She was taken to Noble's Hospital but staff felt medical intervention was inappropriate and she was transferred to the hospice.
The case will resume at Douglas Courthouse at 2pm on March 6th.
