The inquest into the death of an unemployed Douglas man has heard a medical cause of death is yet to be established.
42-year-old Terence Riley was found at a flat on Mona Drive on January 7th.
At Douglas Courthouse last week the court was told a report from paramedics who attended the flat showed they suspected he'd died from a cardiac arrest following a heroin overdose.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham also confirmed there were signs of drug use in the property and 'injection sites' on Mr Riley's body which showed 'signs of recent use'.
Mr Needham passed his condolences to his family, who were in attendance, before releasing Mr Riley's body so funeral arrangements can take place.
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
