An inmate at Jurby prison has denied assaulting a prison officer earlier this year.
36 year old Donovan Kitching appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse via live video link.
He pleaded not guilty to assaulting a peace officer in the jail’s B wing on March 13.
His advocate asked for the case to be adjourned to examine CCTV of the incident.
Mr Kitching was remanded in custody and will next appear in court on September 22.
