22 Year Old Recaptures In Pulrose Area After Evading Capture For Over An Hour
An inmate from Jurby prison managed to briefly escape this afternoon whilst he was being escorted to an appointment in Douglas.
He ran off from his escorts at roughly 2.10pm this afternoon.
Following a police operation he was re-arrested at about 3.25pm in the Pulrose area.
The man is 22 years old and currently serving a six-year sentence for drug offences, which was imposed earlier this year.
No one was harmed during the incident; the man is currently being detained at Police Headquarters.
