A rider who was injured in last week’s Southern 100 races is in a ‘comfortable’ condition in Noble’s Hospital.
Ross Johnson is expected to undergo further treatment today but his injuries are not life threatening.
He was injured during the 600cc race on Thursday morning.
Race organisers provided the update after rumours circulated about his prognosis at other race meets over the weekend.
Southern 100 Racing says it wishes Ross a speedy and full recovery and that further information will be released as appropriate.
