Paramedics and coastguards were called out yesterday after a dog walker was injured at one of the Islands plantations.
Douglas Coastguards were called just after 4.20pm yesterday to assist the paramedic service at the Ballaugh plantation after a female dog walker suffered a fall.
Emergency services are thanking a group of passing bikers who stopped to help with the evacuation of the casualty over rough ground.
The injured female was then transferred to the waiting Air Med helicopter to be taken to hospital.
