There’s been outcry from the Manx public over the past few weeks due to the worsening condition of the Island’s roads as a direct result of the recent cold snap.
Thick ice has led to a number of potholes appearing at various locations around the Island, the Department of Infrastructure have assigned 10 teams to address the situation.
There are now over 130 defects that have been reported with the teams working around the clock to improve the situation.
Estimated to be an expensive undertaking for the DOI, Minister Phil Gawne has said that other planned projects will have to be pushed back if they are to remain within their set budget.
