Inflation has risen on the Isle of Man almost 1% in the last month.
The inflation rate increased to 5.6% in May from 5% in April.
The Islands Treasury Minister Anne Craine said the trend reflects what's happening in the UK as so much of what is consumed on the Isle of Man comes from the UK.
There are concerns that the UK budget soon will impact on the rate here.
