Inflation's hit its highest level in 12 months, according to the latest government figures.
The Economic Affairs Division says April's inflation rate stood at 1.3 per cent - a rise of 1 per cent on the previous month.
Over the past 12 months, oil and fuels leapt up more than 26 per cent, while driving lesson costs rose by almost 17 per cent.
But tea dropped in price by 20 per cent, coffee by more than 10 per cent and beer takeaways saw a 7 per cent decrease.
