Police say they'll have an increased presence around Palace Road in Douglas today.
Last night, officers dealt with an incident there which took some time to resolve.
No details have been released, but on Facebook they say the incident was brought to a safe resolution at around 3am
Police say the road is now open as normal and there's no wider risk to the public.
