Incinerator On Richmond Hill Generates 10% of Island\'s Electricity
The Incinerator in Richmond Hill, Braddan has received one of the top accolades in waste management.
It was awarded the Peel Peoples Cup beating two other candidates that had made the final shortlist.
The site has grown in popularity since it opened in 2004, welcoming around 1,000 visitors through its doors each year.
The station contributes upto 10% of the Island’s electricity.
