iMuseum catalogues election history of the Isle of Man from 1866 to 1956

The recently established facility allows the public to digitally trawl back through newspapers dating back to 1866.

With just one week to go until the House of Keys General Election the public are invited to go and find out the history of elections on the Island at the new iMuseum facility.

The recently established building allows the public to digitally trawl back through newspapers dating back to 1866.

The iMuseum stores nearly 400,000 pages of newsprint with all of the information digitised for ease of use.

You can see what issues have remained a permanent fixture throughout the years and look how bygone election campaigns have differed.

The iMuseum is open Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm.
