Immigration advice on the Island has been described as an unregulated 'wild west'.
This week in the House of Keys Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson faced questions about the industry, and revealed there is no regulation on the Island currently.
Dr Allinson said the Department for Enterprise is consulting about employment agencies with a view to improving regulation in that industry sector.
And he revealed advisors in the UK are currently subject to a regulatory regime:
No gas price hike after regulator review
Cafe hits back after staff abused
Online appointments being considered by sexual health clinic
Treasury can’t say how much is made from medicinal cannabis
Road closures planned for tin baths this weekend
DOI has no junction safety concerns over Iceland plans
LegCo to face questions in this morning's sitting
Passport prices to rise
