The Department of Economic Development has confirmed it will carry out an 'immediate strategic review':
That's the new interim chief executive - Mark Lewin will take over from Chris Corlett next month.
The under fire department has been heavily criticised in recent months after plans for a TT world series were shelved, a deal with a TT promoter was abandoned and conflict with gig promoters.
DED says the landscape for 2017 is very different to that of 2010, when the department was created, and the review will be the 'bedrock' for a new chief executive later next year.
Mr Lewin says he's looking forward to getting stuck in to the temporary role:
