The number of people caught parking in bus stops has dropped by a third in the last four years.
That's according to the Department of Home Affairs which provided the information after a question for written answer in the House of Keys.
North Douglas MHK David Ashford wanted to know how many tickets had been issued to people parked in taxi ranks and bus stops since 2012.
Minister Bill Malarkey said four years ago 54 people had been ticketed in bus stops - compared to just 36 last year.
He also revealed those caught parking in taxi ranks had peaked at 107 in 2013 but the figure has since dropped to just 78.
Mr Malarkey said he only had data for traffic wardens and parking controllers and although police can issue tickets that number wasn't available.
