The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says it'll prosecute anyone who breaches fishing law in Manx waters.
The department has published its policy on licence suspensions, after the recent decision to stop fishing vessels having to report daily.
DEFA says it's written to owners reminding them that their licence can be suspended if they're suspected of cheating or under-declaring catches.
A specialist team will watch all activity on a daily basis to ensure no-one is breaking any laws.
