The government's warning people about hoax emails claiming to be from the Income Tax Division.
A number of local residents have been sent emails which purport to be about tax refunds and overpayments - but it's a scam to trick people into revealing personal financial details.
The Treasury says it would never contact the public via email with details of rebates or refunds, nor would it ask for personal or payment information.
It says if you have any doubts you should delete the message.
