An iconic 'mile marker' destroyed in a crash last year has been restored and brought back to life.
The Department of Infrastructure took to social media to share the news.
The cast iron mile marker on the approach to Michael from Cronk Y Voddy was smashed a few months ago.
However, the department's blacksmiths have 'worked their magic' and put it back together - returning it to its original place.
The Island's iconic black and white mile markers date back to the 1860's and were installed on the instruction of the Island's then Surveyer General James Garrow.
