A yellow weather warning for icy patches on roads is in place until later this morning.
The notice from Ronaldsway Met Office was issued at 11pm last night and runs until 10am today.
It says icy areas on highways are most likely to affect upland regions above 700-900 feet.
However, it's added most surfaces should otherwise remain dry with little or no ice expected.
