A petition calling for an ice rink to be allowed at a shopping complex in St Johns has almost reached 800 signatures.
Tynwald Mills was refused planning permission to host its annual ice rink, but says it is working with authorities to try to set up the facility for the fourth year.
Now, supporters are gathering names in an online petition backing the move.
The document, at GoPetition.com, has attracted almost 800 people who back the company.
