Ice cream plans for chiropodist's surgery

A former chiropodist's surgery in Ramsey could be transformed into an ice cream parlour, if planners give the go-ahead.

Robert Cowell, of Dale Street in the town, has applied for planning permission to turn the Brookfields building on Parliament Square into an eatery.

In his application Mr Cowell says the new shop would also have new toilet facilities installed.

The business would also have customer seating and make use of what's currently an empty site.
