A weather warning is in place this morning for ice and wintry showers across the Island.
The Ronaldsway Met Office notice, which came into force yesterday will remain in place until 10am this morning.
According to forecasters, road temperatures have been expected to fall close to or slightly below freezing overnight, mainly on higher ground above 1000ft but also in some sheltered low lying areas.
This could bring the risk of icy patches on any untreated highways where damp or wet showers may have fallen since Monday evening.
