Police are hunting the driver of a car which mounted the pavement and narrowly avoided running over a pedestrian.
The Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team says the incident happened at 9.35pm last night on Claughbane Drive Lane near Ballastowell Gardens.
The small dark vehicle did a U-turn at speed, mounted the pavement and drove towards an elderly lady - those in the vehicle were laughing as they drove past.
