More than 600 people have signed a petition to stop plans to reduce the number of parking spaces in Ramsey.
Ramsey's Chamber of Commerce set up the online petition after the DOI unveiled plans for the town's quayside.
The proposals, which were presented at a public meeting, involve the loss of around 60 parking spaces in the town centre.
A move which campaigners claim will "severely reduce the level of on-street parking within the town" and "remove the vast majority of long term parking within the town's car parks".
The plans can be viewed here and a link to the petition can be viewed here.
