More than 200 people will take part in this weekend’s Tough Mann Adventure Challenge.
The new 10k event is taking place on Ballamoar Farm in Ballaugh on Sunday.
Individuals and teams of three will be faced with more than 20 obstacles including gunk tanks, muddy bogs and a gorse maze.
Competitors will be raising money for the Hospice as well as a number of other local charities.
Organiser Richard Cryer says final preparations are being carried out and has this advice for those taking part:
