The number of people paying back community loans direct from their benefits has almost doubled in the last three years.
A Freedom of Information request to the Treasury asked how many people were having benefits deductions.
In its response, it said people making payments to the Manx Credit Union had risen from 288 three years ago to 559 this year.
The figures also show the number of people paying back benefits budgeting loans fell from 790 to 640 in the same period.
