Social housing policy on the Island is going to be reviewed.
The Department of social care want to anticipate the major changes and challenges the Island will face over the next 20 years so that the houses suit the needs of communities.
Since the last all Island review the population has grown by 17% and a typical house price has risen from £70,000 to £250,000.
Chief Executive of the Department Chris Corlett said they need to constantly scan the horizon to ensure the needs of the people of the Isle of Man are met. (audio above)
